90 km to raise money for Parkinson

Last Saturday I went to this event. In short: my own grandfather has Parkinson. With events like this they want to raise money to find some medicins against this stupid Son of a bitch.

You could choose between 27, 54 or 90 kilometers. Off course I did the 90K. You can see how it was in the link below. Be aware that after about 68 km the battery of my cellphone said f**k you against Parkinson too 🙂

Zeelse eenwielerwedstrijden: the results

Yesterday were the Zeelse eenwielerwedstrijd. A fun day to see friends, learn from others, ride against friends and break personal records. The fun thing of this competition is that all people get a medal at the end of the day!

IMG-20180902-WA0001It’s not on a track, but on an old road 😉 So riding a personal record is not easy. This is what I dit:

  • 800m: 2:29,98
  • first slalom: 28’69”
  • second slalom: 28’67”
  • 10m slow: DQ and 19’43”
  • 100m: half final (5e)

I had one personal best! At the slow I beat my record of unicon19! (this was the only flat discipline in zele 🙂

The 100m is here also a funny competition. You must take a number and that deside against who you ride. You ride in waves of 4 people and the first two go to the next round. So you can be lucky and ride against slow riders, or unlucky and ride against Gert-Jan, Mathias or some other good riders. At the end there is a final with the 4 last ridersIMG-20180901-WA0001.
